Normally, we celebrate apprentices completing their apprenticeship by adding their image to our ‘Achievement Wall’. However, Jack Harris of Leeds Welding Company, completing his Level 4 Engineering & Manufacture Apprenticeship was a pivotal moment for Appris as he was the final Apprenticeship Framework to claim and certificate.
As one of the few providers to transition to Apprenticeship Standards immediately in 2017, with our first End Point Assessment in Autumn of 2020 as we came out of COVID lock down, Apprenticeship Frameworks drastically reduced as employers got on board with Standards.
With no recognised Apprenticeship Standard at the time, Jack was one of the last enrolments on a Framework, so it has been a pleasure to see out Frameworks with an achievement, with an apprentice that has risen through the ranks of apprenticeship levels and an asset to his employer.
